2nd Announcement
The Central European Conference on Cryptology becomes after two past conferences (TATRACRYPT '01 - Liptovský Ján, Slovakia, and HAJDUCRYPT '02 - Debrecen, Hungary) a traditional meeting of people involved in cryptology. The aim of the conference is to gather people interested in discussing recent advances in all areas of cryptology, and experience in teaching the subject. All participants are encouraged to present a contributed talk.
Location.
The TATRACRYPT '03 Conference on Cryptology will take place in SÚZA
building in Bratislava, Slovakia.
How to reach SÚZA building:
1. From the railway station by bus number 41 - get off at the stop "Šafranová".
2. From the central bus terminal "Mlynské Nivy" by bus number 21 or by trolley-bus number 210 - get off at the stop "SAV", and from there by bus number 41 - get off at the stop "Šafranová".

Program.
Preliminary Conference Programme
The conference will start on Thursday, June 26, and will last till Saturday,
June 28. One afternoon (depending on the weather and general agreement) is
supposed to be free for
those willing to make a trip by boat
(to Hydro-powerplant in Gabcikovo,
Vienna or
Budapest) or to make sightseeing.
We plan plenary sessions in the morning and short talks (20 - 40 minutes) in the afternoon from 15:00 till 18:00. The program will be finalized at the beginning of the conference.
Preliminary list of plenary speakers:
Abstracts.
We plan to print abstracts of
talks and lectures (up to one page per talk) in advance. If
you would like to have your abstract published, please send it before
May 31, 2003.
Proceedings.
We plan to publish contributed talks (after
refereeing) in the Proceedings, published in our Tatra Mountains
Mathematical Publications. Tatra Mt. is listed in one of the CC series.
Instructions for speakers.
There will be 20-40-minutes talks (including time for discussion).
A space for discussions will be provided within the Conference.
The conference language will be English.
Registration fee.
Registration fee is 100 EUR, for students (including PhD students) 50 EUR only.

Proceedings of the conference, too.
Board and lodging.
There are only double rooms in SÚZA. The price of a room (occupied by a single person) is 40 EUR per day
(including full day meal). The price of a room (occupied by two persons) is 35 EUR per day per each person
(including full day meal).
Please, make your payment by bank transfer to the bank account of the Mathematical Institute (Stefanikova 49, 814 73 Bratislava, Slovakia), account No. 35-56228-012/0720, VS 0603 in National bank of Slovakia, Tomasikova 28A, 82009 Bratislava, Slovakia. It is also possible to pay in cash after arrival in EUR.
Accompanying persons are heartily welcome, and there is no registration fee for them.
